Dreamland Football Academy (DFA) is a growing football academy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, providing year-round football activities for youth ages 9 - 17. Each year, over 100 youth participate in DFA programs supported by professional coaches. Our regular activities include weekly training sessions, internal league matches and regular social events.

Professional Discipline
To excel in football, trainees should conduct themselves with the highest standards of discipline in terms of the appetite and passion for learning new skills, time keeping and the resilience to continue to improve.
Academic Excellence
Excellence in football should not be achieved at the expense of academic excellence. The perfect balance to achieve both has to be kept in mind all the time and teachers and parents need to provide a supportive environment to enable kids to achieve this balance.
Contribution to the Community
Football provides the platform for children to integrate with other kids from different backgrounds and, in the process, learn to conduct themselves with respect, patience and understanding. Football contributes in keeping young people away from negative influences especially as they become teenagers. A sizable number of our trainees are selected from the local community and granted full scholarships.
Objectives
Dreamland Football Academy was established in April 2018, by like-minded individuals with a passion to develop the youth and to enable them to reach the heights of their potential in the sport.
Dreamland Football Academy aims to:
- Spot talent at an early age and groom it to translate it into real capability on the ground
- Cultivating young aspiring professionals by systematically training them in the discipline and art of football
- Fostering an environment in which kids enjoy their time doing what they love in a more systematic and professional way
- Contributing, together with parents, to the overall character development of the young, enabling them to focus both on their physical wellbeing as well as education
- Creating a platform for talented kids to find an opportunity to fully realize and benefit from their potential by connecting them with professional football clubs
- Developing plots into football pitches and make them available for play
